Peraltro la produzione solistica successiva di Roger Waters è piena di riferimenti specifici alle automobili, soprattutto di lusso e in chiave ironica, con un intero album riferito all'autostoppismo (o meglio, all'ossessione per la autostoppista - ometto volutamente l'apostrofo ).
